Scotland joins the Euro
This largely mountainous country of just over five million people, and until recently the smaller part of a larger state with a more populous neighbour, has today officially adopted the Euro.

Re: Scotland joins the Euro
I don't know enough (read "anything") about politics but being from Caergybi - Holyhead and after living in mainland Europe on several occasions, I see myself as a Welsh European and, I certainly feel like Wales is a European Nation.
All we have to do now is take control of our water supplies and we can have our economic equality secure for the next 25'000 years - or maybe longer?
A brave move by the Scots, it will be interesting to see how they get on - I see Slovakia in the link but not Scotland?
